The more in-person shopping a town has, the stronger every shop becomes.

We strive to find something for everyone, and it felt like maybe we had hit the mark that day! And then other days, it feels like we’ve gone too broad, cast a net too wide. The gift-giving goal is ever-evolving.

Jonquies is still in its early-growth, wobbly-fawn-on-ice stage. We’re building this slowly and deliberately. We need time to make it through our very first holiday season. We need time to get to know what people like, what they don’t like, what isn’t working and what is. But you can’t do that if you aren’t working the store, if you aren’t living it even when it is exhausting.

Y’all are the reason we exist. Let me tell you: you’ve been a blast.

What a first week it’s been at Jonquies!
